About this website and the original website

Backup website

Hi, I'm Mary Roswell, a debunker and believer. When serpo.org was suspended for a month, I was expecting it to happen again. There's no point in paying for something you don't value anymore.

So I started to save the website's content for the day when the original website will be permanently suspended. It took me a while to notice really, but I finally got some time to check and then I created this website right away. I hope the platform is not loading too slowly.

This story is classified as debunked/hoax, but little I care. I'm here for the story, not for the facts.

Origins

The "Zeta Reticuli Exchange Program," often referred to as "Serpo," is a controversial and unverified conspiracy theory and alleged government cover-up. It claims that in the late 1960s, a group of American astronauts was sent to a distant planet in the Zeta Reticuli star system called Serpo, where they lived and collaborated with extraterrestrial beings known as the Ebens for several years

The Serpo story is said to have originated from a series of anonymous emails and online forum postings in the mid-2000s. The initial claims were made on a UFO-related online forum called "Open Minds Forum," which has since become known for its discussions on various conspiracy theories and extraterrestrial-related topics.

The first posts on this forum claimed to be from an anonymous former government employee who had insider information about a secret exchange program with extraterrestrial beings. These posts were presented as a "whistleblower" account, with the individual going by the pseudonym "Anonymous."

The story began to gain attention as "Anonymous" continued to post detailed accounts of the alleged Serpo exchange program. These accounts included descriptions of the journey to the Zeta Reticuli star system, the interactions with the Ebens, and the experiences of the American astronauts. Over time, additional details and information were shared, and a small online community of believers formed around the story. Some people claimed to have corroborating evidence, such as documents and photographs, though none of these materials were ever independently verified.

It's important to note that the identity of "Anonymous" remains unknown, and there is no way to verify the authenticity of the claims made in the Serpo story. As a result, the story is widely regarded as a hoax or a work of fiction by experts and authorities in the fields of UFO research and government secrecy.

Bill Ryan

Bill Ryan is a key figure associated with the Serpo story. He is known for his involvement in promoting and disseminating information about the alleged Zeta Reticuli Exchange Program. Bill Ryan, along with Kerry Cassidy, co-founded Project Camelot, a website and online platform focused on conspiracy theories, UFOs, and government secrets.

In 2005, Bill Ryan and Kerry Cassidy conducted interviews and investigations related to the Serpo story and released information about it on the Project Camelot website. They presented themselves as independent researchers seeking to uncover hidden truths about government cover-ups and extraterrestrial contact. They conducted interviews with individuals who claimed to have inside knowledge about the Serpo program and featured this information in their reports.

It's important to note that Bill Ryan's involvement in promoting the Serpo story did not verify its authenticity or provide concrete evidence for its claims. The Serpo story has been widely discredited and regarded as a hoax by mainstream experts and researchers, including those in the fields of ufology and government secrecy.
